His strategic planning/analysis and sales/marketing expertise is backed by more than 39 years of real-world experience in manufacturing, tooling, design and build, vehicle program development, product design and international programs. Dave has served as CEO, COO, President, Plant Manager, Lead Engineer and other key positions in the manufacturing sector. He has managed up to 2,000 full-time personnel with highly specialized technical skills. Dave has returned companies to profitability by instituting process controls, re-engineering manufacturing processes and implementing program and management accountability. Professional Experience Lobdell Emery Corporation (later purchased by Oxford Automotive) was a preferred Tier 1 supplier of automotive stampings and body assemblies with 1996 revenues of over $300 million. As Senior VP, Sales, Marketing and Engineering, Dave?s management of the sales and marketing staff resulted in over $1 billion in annual opportunities. In the 1990s, Modern Engineering was the auto industry?s largest supplier of engineering services, prototypes, production tooling and production systems. Dave served them as Executive VP and President of the Manufacturing Group of Modern Engineering. He directed the entire Manufacturing Systems group, which consisted of 750 engineers and 350 tool makers in various sites. He purchased and implemented state-of-the-art computer software and hardware applications. As Corporate Officer, Dave applied corporation-wide planning processes that built executive relationships and resulted in penetration of new customer segments. The company experienced a ten-year growth in excess of 600% and 1991 revenues of $340 million. In the 70s and 80s, Dave was Senior Vice President of Modern 2000, General Manager of the Manufacturing Tool Design Group and Manager of Fisher Tooling Group.
