David joined Greenhill in 2008. Prior to joining Greenhill, he worked from 2006 to 2008 in the Global Special Situations group and the Financial Sponsors Coverage group at Merrill Lynch & Co., and from 2000 to 2006 in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey, where he worked on a number of debtor- and creditor-side restructuring and distressed M&A transactions, both in and out of court. Prior to this, David was an associate with the law firm of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, where he practiced from 1998 to 2000 in the bankruptcy and business reorganization group. He also served as law clerk to the Hon. Leif M. Clark, United States Bankruptcy Judge, from 1997 to 1998. David received his B.A. from Vassar College, Phi Beta Kappa, his J.D. from the University of Texas and his LL.M. from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. |
