Mr. Emerson was named Vice President Corporate Development in March 2001. Prior to that Mr. Emerson had served as Director Business Development for Baker Hughes Oilfield Operations since 1998. He joined Western Atlas Inc. in 1997 as Director Corporate Development. Prior to joining Western Atlas Mr. Emerson held various positions with Halliburton Company from 1982-1997. Mr. Emerson received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Mexico and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
