Mr. Bauman�s litigation practice focuses on commercial and business disputes, criminal law, franchise law, and military law at the trial and appellate levels. A former prosecutor with the Marine Corps, Mr. Bauman has tried to verdict over 35 jury and bench trials on both criminal and civil matters in Federal, State and municipal court; has conducted numerous pre-trial and administrative hearings; and has participated in numerous arbitration proceedings as an advocate and as an arbitrator. Mr. Bauman is a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Civil Practice Committee. He is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (former Chair, Franchise Law Committee; member, Municipal Court Practice Committee; and Special Committee on Military Law and Veterans� Affairs), the Morris and Essex County Bar Associations, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey, and the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey. He was an adjunct instructor in American history at Coastal Carolina Community College and is a member of the Board of Advisors at Fairleigh Dickinson University�s Criminal Justice Program. Mr. Bauman earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and his Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School.
