BACKGROUND: David earned his B.S. degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1944 and an A.B. degree from Duke University in 1949. He received his LL.B. degree from Southern Methodist University in 1951. He joined Shackleford, Farrior, Stallings & Evans in 1962, a firm with nearly a hundred years of presence in the Tampa Bay area. David practices in the areas of Admiralty and Maritime Law, Securities and Commercial Litigation. He is a certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
