David G. Peterson is a member of the Litigation Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. His practice includes representing clients in disputes involving products liability, commercial litigation, employment litigation, as well as general negligence defense. David has significant trial experience, as well as extensive experience in mediation and arbitration. David is admitted to practice before the United States Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Seventh Judicial Circuits. David is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association, the Milwaukee Bar Association and the Thomas E. Fairchild American Inns of Court. David completed his undergraduate education at Michigan State University, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting, with honors. Before going to law school, David was an accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick's Milwaukee office, splitting time in both its audit and tax departments. He graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he was selected to the Order of the Coif. After law school, David served as a Clerk to the Honorable Justice Louis J. Ceci of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
