Mr. Heaney is a co-founder of Heaney Rosenthal Inc., a private investment company, and serves as its Chairman. In 1986, Mr. Heaney was one of the founders of Sterling Chemicals, Inc. ("Sterling"), which later became a public company traded on the New York Stock Exchange. During his eight years with Sterling, Mr. Heaney served as Sterling's Administrative Vice President, and later as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Sterling in 1986, Mr. Heaney was a partner in the Houston law firm Bracewell & Patterson, specializing in business transactions. Mr. Heaney holds JD and BBA degrees from The University of Texas. |
