David L. Beretta, age 50 and a resident of Pleasanton, California, is a director of the Bank. In 1982 Mr. Beretta co-founded Vintaco, Inc., a private business and real estate management firm specializing in the management of partnerships, limited liability companies, real estate investment & development, construction, lumber and agricultural industries. In 1981-1982, Mr. Beretta co-founded Five Star Lumber Company, which specialized in the production and sales of hardwood pallets to the grocery and agriculture industries, with plants currently in Newark, California, Salinas, California and Yuma, Arizona. From 1998 to 2002 Mr. Beretta was a director for Heritage Bank East Bay, a subsidiary of Heritage Commerce Corporation. Mr. Beretta attended the University of the Pacific (Stockton, California), graduating in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and minor in Economics. In 1978 to 1980 he attended the Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Santa Clara, earning an MBA degree in Accounting. |
