Mr. Miller has aggressively represented private and public employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law. Mr. Miller assists clients to develop creative, cost-effective solutions to workplace issues involving employees or unions, and defending employers in administrative and court proceedings. Mr. Miller is a past Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association, YLS, Labor and Employment Committee, and the recipient of the Association's David Hilliard Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Miller has been an instructor for the Northern Illinois University's SHRM Certification Test Preparation Course and currently serves as a board member on several non-profit organizations.

Obtained injunctions against former shareholders and employees due to their breach of fiduciary duties and promises to not compete.
Drafted non-compete and confidentiality agreements on behalf of employers.Secured jury verdicts and summary dismissals for employers in wrongful discharge claims involving issues such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Negotiated favorable employer settlements in class action discrimination and wage and hour claims involving EEOC and private plaintiffs.
Won dismissal of ERISA claims by union trust funds against employers for alleged delinquent contributions.
Represented private and public employers in collective bargaining negotiations, labor arbitrations, union certification and decertification campaigns, union avoidance, strikes, picketing, secondary boycotts, and unfair labor practice proceedings.
Facilitated business acquisitions by resolving union contract and other employment-related issues.
Negotiated executive employment and compensation agreements.
