For more than 20 years, David has represented owners and developers in all phases of the acquisition, development and disposition of residential, commercial and industrial properties. His practice emphasizes all aspects of development processing and entitlements, including subdivisions, use permits, rezonings and development agreements, as well as related environmental, construction and litigation matters. His practice also regularly includes matters involving property conveyancing, leasing, and insurance coverage.
Often advising clients regarding the most strategic profit and non-profit entity formations to achieve their goals, David's business practice includes the formation of proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies and independent contractor arrangements.
David, who previously served as vice president-counsel for a regional developer of large residential and commercial projects, has extensive expertise in all aspects of negotiating, drafting and closing a wide range of real estate transactions, including options, purchases and sales, leases and easements. David also has extensive experience in the preparation of CC&Rs and other governing documents for residential and commercial planned unit developments.
