David received an AB in Anatomy and Physiology from Indiana University in 1959. He then attended Indiana University School of Medicine, and graduated in 1962 with an MD, spent a 1-year internship at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, and then performed a 4-year residency at Indiana University Medical Center in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Following residency, he served as a Captain in the United States Air Force between 1967 to 1969. He began practicing as an OB/GYN in Muncie 1969 to present. Business interests includes co-founder and Vice President of S & S Steel Corporation in Anderson, Indiana from 1987 to present; designed and built a 3,800 sq. ft. medical office building in 1969, and then his second development project was a 23,000 sq. ft. medical office, in 1995; Dean�s Council of Indiana University Medical School for past 15-years; Board of Directors Wild�s Christian Camp, in Brevard, North Carolina for last 12-years; Board of Directors of Bob Jones University, in Greenville, South Carolina for the last 10-years. David has been married for 45-years, with 5 children and 19 grandchildren. He is a member of Grace Baptist Church, Muncie, Indiana. |
