David DiPietro has over twenty years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Signal Hill, he was a Vice Chairman and Director of Deutsche Bank Securities with responsibility for the Private Client Division as well as North American Equities. He was a member of the global operating committees for Private Wealth Management and Global Equities. During his tenure as Head of North American Equities, the business improved from the fourteenth ranked firm to as high as seventh in an eighteen month period. The business had over 500 people in sales, trading and research. Prior to Deutsche Bank�s acquisition of Bankers Trust, DiPietro ran Equity Capital Markets for both Bankers Trust and Alex. Brown from 1992 to 1999. He oversaw hundreds of equity financings for the firm, including the IPOs for Starbucks, Outback Steakhouse, and America Online as well as the $1.4 billion follow-on transaction as book runner for Clear Channel Communications. Mr. DiPietro also ran the firm�s equity commitment committee. Mr. DiPietro joined Alex. Brown from Merrill Lynch in 1990 where he was an associate in Investment Banking and Equity Capital Markets. Mr. DiPietro, earned his BA from Haverford College and his MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. He is co-founder and co-chairman of the Maryland Stallion Station, a thoroughbred breeding venture, and, serves on the boards of directors of the Maryland Mentoring Partnership, Maryland Million Ltd, and Garrison Forest School. |
