David P. Smolarek, CPA is a director of Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C. He is a graduate of Canisus College and started his career in public accounting in 1973 with BDO Seidman in Buffalo, NY. In 1988 he moved to Jamestown and became a tax partner with Lloyd and Company, C.P.A, P.C before joining BWB. As a former officer with the Estate Planning Council of Jamestown, Dave's extensive knowledge of estate, corporate and personal tax matters has helped many clients plan for their financial future. His expertise and diversified background, especially in the manufacturing sector, encompasses areas of taxation and consulting, as well as accounting and auditing matters.
