Mr. Gardner is a trial lawyer and maintains a broad-based litigation practice in both state and federal court defending several clients in jury trial and workers� compensation hearings. His litigation practice focuses on personal injury, products liability, insurance bad faith, professional malpractice and workers� compensation defense. Mr. Gardner also works with various local hospitals in handling claims under the Idaho Medical Indigency Act, and also assists with general collection matters and other health-related issues.Mr. Gardner is a member of the American Bar Association, the Idaho and Utah State Bars, the Sixth District Bar Association, and the Litigation and Health Law Sections of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel and a Board Member of the Idaho State Bar Workers� Compensation Section. Mr. Gardner is admitted to practice in the Supreme Courts of the State of Idaho and Utah, and the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Idaho and Utah.Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gardner completed a two-year clerkship with Sixth District Judges B. Lynn Winmill and N. Randy Smith. As a law clerk, he researched and drafted court opinions, advised the court on matters of law, prepared jury instructions, and attended several hearings and trials.Mr. Gardner graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 1995 where he was active in moot court as a member of the Moot Court Board. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 1992. |
