David R. Stern has served as our Senior Vice President, Scientific Affairs, since June 2007. Previously, he served as our Senior Vice President, Research and Development from May 2006 to June 2007 and as a member of our board of directors since April 2002. From May 2001 to April 2002, Mr. Stern served as our Vice President, Research and Development and as our Chief Executive Officer from April 2002 to May 2006. From July 2000 to April 2001, Mr. Stern served as Vice President and Business Unit Manager of the Peripheral Technologies Division of C.R. Bard, Inc. where he was responsible for directing marketing, research and development and business development activities. Mr. Stern holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a M.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. |
