David S. Deason became vice president of Barnes & Noble Development in January 1997. The Barnes & Noble Development group has been responsible for the site locations designs and construction of more than 600 Barnes & Noble super stores. Mr. Deason identified and approved the sites and helped manage the negotiation of leases and the construction process for more than 400 of these state-of-the-art stores.
David Deason joined Barnes & Noble in January 1990 as a director of real estate. Previously he was a director of real estate for S&A Restaurant Corporation a national restaurant chain which he joined in 1980.
Mr. Deason attended the University of Texas at Dallas. He serves as a board member of Creative Learning 4 Kids a nonprofit educational charity which provides tutorial services and mentoring for children.
David Deason resides in Dallas Texas with his wife and three daughters. |
