Mr. Wallace, based in the firm's Washington, DC office, focuses on intellectual property issues primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnological arts. Exemplary fields include generic drugs, dietary supplements, foods, health care products, chemical processes and polymers. His practice emphasizes patent procurement, counseling, licensing and due diligence.
Mr. Wallace has published several articles and is a co-editor for the U.S. chapter of International Pharmaceutical Law and Practice. He has lectured on various topics, such as the impact of the ground-breaking Festo decision by the U.S. Supreme Court and advanced patent prosecution strategies. Mr. Wallace teaches occasionally on behalf of the Practicing Law Institute. He was also a judge at the 2008 Giles Rich Moot Court Competition at George Washington University School of Law.
