Windmill team since 1995, Mr. Martin has twenty-one years of technical problem solving experience with sixteen years in Air Force systems acquisition. Mr. Martin has a long track record of focusing diverse team efforts to accomplish complex tasks. His experience includes: eight years as an AWACS flight test engineer and Test Director accruing over 750 hours of flight test time on US and NATO E-3 and Japan 767 test aircraft, two years in the Air Force Program Executive Office for Command, Control, and Communications as an action officer and Exec, and five years as a Program Manager. He was recognized for superior technical abilities as Air Force Systems Command's choice for the American Defense Preparedness Association's Tester of the Year Award in 1991. Mr. Martin presented a paper at the 1998 International Test and Evaluation Association Annual Symposium on combining defense and commercial test cultures. As Windmill's Technical Director he is focusing Windmill's corporate knowledge base into research and product development areas. He has developed a consortium of technology experts within and outside of Windmill, producing a technology focus in Knowledge Management, Training, and Antenna Design. He has directed Windmill's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program and the development of a knowledge management framework to support government C2 system acquisition. He is currently responsible for the Tactical User Antenna Strategic Business Unit. |
