David Adams is Senior Vice President, Operations and Support, for Sterling Commerce, responsible for delivering all customer-facing systems and networks. Adams will be the the driving force behind the company s efforts in becoming a customer-centric organization. Prior to taking this post, Adams was headed up the company s Service Delivery organization, including Professional Services, Managed Services, and Education Services. Before joining Sterling Commerce, Adams worked in the technology and customer delivery industry for 22 years in a variety of technology management positions. After starting his career with Wallace Business Forms and Unisys, Adams progressed up the technology management ranks with Viata Corporation, Hall-Mark Electronics, and Lomas and Nettleton Information Systems. Adams took a business management assignment at Checktronic, leading the turnaround and sale of the company. At Fujitsu ICL Systems, Adams had P&L responsibility for delivering e-commerce, infrastructure management, and software support and call center solutions in addition to leading the IT organization. At SCA Technologies, a technology services company, Adams led the customer delivery, through defined project management methodologies and disciplines, of supply chain, ERP, relationship management, and e-business solutions. Adams holds a business degree in marketing from the University of Texas-Arlington. |
