Mr. Engelbrecht has over 13 years of IT and professional services experience in the technology industry. He is responsible for all aspects of accelerating the growth of Opsource and its customers through the alignment of OpSource's product portfolio to customer business requirements. David built OpSource's Business Consulting team and developed the OpSource SaaS Enablement Program, defining critical technical, operational and product models and enabling software companies to make the transition to SaaS. As a result of these experiences, David has first hand knowledge of the business challenges and goals of more than 300 software and technology service companies.
Prior to joining OpSource, Mr. Engelbrecht ran the Managed Services P&L at AboveNet which was acquired from Site Smith. He has also built and ran technology operations teams at Della and James, USWeb/CKS and Kubota.
Mr. Engelbrecht holds MBAs from the Haas School at UC Berkeley and Columbia University . He also holds an elected seat on the Board of Directors for the Software Division of industry association SIIA. |
