He is a co-founder of the firm and actively focuses on Company strategy and overall risk management. Prior to joining Bayview, Mr. Ertel was a Managing Director of Applied Mortgage Analytics, a boutique advisory firm. Previously, Mr. Ertel was an Associate in the Financial Institutions Department at Salomon Brothers Inc., where he was involved in a number of merger and acquisition transactions for mortgage and banking clients. Mr. Ertel attended The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree with a concentration in Finance, graduating Magna Cum Laude. |
