David Farmer, Executive Vice President, Operations holds a BSIE from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Duke University. He provides overall general management and strategic responsibility for the business development activities of IET. With over 26 years of professional experience, Mr. Farmer brings a well-rounded background in marketing, operations management, and engineering to the group. Mr. Farmer worked for Kraft/General Foods for over 13 years where he held various engineering, operations, and marketing positions culminating in the launch of the successful Lunchables product line. Mr. Farmer held Marketing Director positions at Nevada's Sierra Pacific electric utility, Fort James paper products, and Praxair, a $6B global leader in industrial atmospheric gas and applications. At Praxair he led the international market development efforts for new technologies targeted to the Food & Beverage and Chemical and Refining industries and was a champion of IET's technology within Praxair. Mr. Farmer joined IET in 2003 as president of the wholly owned subsidiary InEnTec Medical Services, LLC. He successfully managed the division until 2007 leading to a strategic partnership with MedServe, Inc. the number two national medical waste services company. Mr. Farmer assumed his current position with IET in March of 2007. |
