David Fenichel is a Senior Vice President with Competition Policy Associates. Mr. Fenichel specializes in the application of quantitative analysis and modeling to address complex competitive issues to support litigation. He has more than 20 years of experience in conducting economic and financial analyses in a variety of sectors including energy industries, such as electric power. Mr. Fenichel has provided expert testimony in regulatory commission, arbitration, and court proceedings. Mr. Fenichel holds a bachelors degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from Duke University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and masters degrees in Economics and Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University. Prior to joining COMPASS, Mr. Fenichel was a Principal with The Brattle Group and Competition Economics, Inc. He has also held consulting positions with PHB Hagler Bailly, MRW & Association, and ICF Resources and served as an analyst for Chevron.
Mr. Fenichel enjoys commuting to work by bicycle from suburban Maryland, where he lives with his wife (Jane) and two sons (Andrew and Ben), and he recently completed the Boston Marathon. He is also an avid golfer and has competed in regional and national tournaments, including the United States Amateur Championship. |
