David joined Lindquist & Vennum in 2007 after spending five years in the legal department of Ameriprise Financial, Inc., where he served as vice president and group counsel for regulatory strategy. Before joining Ameriprise, he was a business litigator at two national law firms, focusing on defense of securities class actions, financial services litigation, and other commercial litigation matters.During his tenure at Ameriprise, David also managed the firm�s litigation docket and provided counsel on a wide range of business, regulatory and compliance matters.
