David Goldstein represents owners of commercial and residential properties in New York who are either challenging the amount of property tax assessed by the City of New York or are claiming an exemption.
Mr. Goldstein served for seven years as President of the Tax Commission of the City of New York, where he was charged with reviewing and correcting property tax assessments. Earlier, he was Chief Assessor of New York City, a position in which he oversaw the introduction of computer-assisted mass appraisal techniques in an office which produced annual assessment rolls covering 900,000 real estate parcels. He also was an Assessor-in-Charge of the Equalization Unit of the City's Real Property Bureau and a Former Member/Designee of the Industrial and Commercial Incentive Board.
