Dave was born in Kinston, North Carolina. He grew up around the collection industry, working in his father's office during summer breaks while in high school. He moved to California in 1971, where he began working in family collection business in Watsonville, California in 1973. He purchased agency, Pacific Credit Services, in 1979. After much research and procrastination, he joined the DAKCS family in 1985. (Kent still did installations in those days) He has 3 daughters: Kate-21, Lindsey-23 and Ashlee-26. A great deal of his time over the last 20 years has been spent with the girls; coaching, watching, cheering, hanging out at Lake Tahoe and just having fun. He loves just about any outdoor activity but his favorites are: golf, swimming, biking, hiking, skiing (snow & water) and curling. Although he doesn't get to do too much curling in California, he will always remember his glory days at the Ogden Ice sheet. He still has the gold medal hanging on his dresser. Wine making and wine tasting are two of his favorite indoor activities. |
