Dave Holden, a managing director and co-head of the debt capital markets group at Piper Jaffray, started his career at Piper Jaffray in 1987 and served in a broad range of functions, including investment banking, research and trading. Most recently, Holden became head of the new business development division within the Piper Jaffray fixed income group, where he led the development and growth of the Piper Jaffray fixed income research department and our debt capital markets platform. During this period, Holden served on the fixed income operating committee.
Previously, Holden was an originator of private equity transactions with the private placement team at Piper Jaffray. Prior to working in the private placement group, Holden was a senior high-yield research analyst focused on specialty finance companies, oil and gas exploration, production credits and special situations. Prior to research, Holden served as head of the structured products trading desk for Piper Jaffray, specializing in leveraged credit-sensitive structured securities. Holden received his bachelor's degree in Finance from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 1986. |
