David Kaemmer began his professional programming career in 1985 at Tom Snyder Productions, an educational software publisher in Cambridge, where he was hired by Omar. He and Omar left TSP in 1987 and formed Papyrus Design Group. David was the lead engineer and designer on most of Papyrus' award winning PC-based auto racing simulations: "Indianapolis 500: The Simulation", "IndyCar Racing", "IndyCar Racing II", "Nascar Racing", "Grand Prix Legends", and "Nascar Racing 4". He left Papyrus in 2002, and is currently the President and CEO of iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, a web-based multiplayer racing service which he co-founded. David has over 20 years of experience in the game and entertainment software business, and has been programming computers for almost 30 years. In his spare time, David can be found racing formula cars, cycling the roads of New England, or skiing. If it involves going fast, he wants to know about it. He has a wonderful wife and three lovely children who encourage him to race home every day. (but not too fast!). |
