David Molmen is Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Altru Health System. Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Molmen served as the System's Associate Vice president of Medical Affairs (1990 to 1993). He was Chief Executive Officer of Midwest Medical Group, Denver, a 130 physician multi-specialty practice, from 1989 to 1990. He was the Associate Administrator of Grand Forks Clinic, Ltd., from 1984 to 1989 and the Administrator of the Grand Forks Orthopedic Clinic, from 1979 to 1984. Mr. Molmen was management resource person for The United Hospital from 1978 to 1979 and did his management internship at the Hospital. Mr. Molmen received his baccalaureate degree in Business Administration from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, in 1978, with majors in Health Care Finance and Psychology. He is a member of several national organizations, and is a Certified Medical Practice Executive. Mr. Molmen speaks nationally to medical group practices on information technology and financial management. He has served a chairman of the MGMA National Joint Information Services Committee. He is active in community service, a member of the Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority Board and a member of the Chamber of Commerce. |
