Mr. Nahmias is the former Chair of the National Hydrogen Association, and a veteran of the industrial gas and cryogenics industries. He has worked on industrial gas production and liquefaction plants in a variety of operational, management and consulting capacities. His work focused on the technologies of steam reforming, partial oxidation, auto-thermal reforming, acid gas removal, pressure swing adsorption, and hydrogen liquefaction and refrigeration. Mr. Nahmias was employed by Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. from 1962 through 1993. As a consultant since 1993, he has authored a major multi-client report on hydrogen production technologies, has participated in annual peer reviews of the DOE's hydrogen R&D program, and has been an invited member of the DOE Hydrogen Technical Advisory Panel. Mr. Nahmias holds an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A. from Lehigh University. |
