Dr. David Newman is an independent director and early stage investor. In addition to Cswitch he is currently on the board of Lightstorm Networks (Galway, Ireland) and Vyatta (San Mateo, CA.). He previously led investments in Pathscale, Redline Networks and SiLutia, all of which have been acquired by public companies. Dave spent most of his career in the computer and networking industries at Rapid City, FORE , Alantec. He previously spent 9 years at Digital Equipment Corp and began his career in wafer fabrication at Fairchild Semiconductor. Dave has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University, an MS in Physics from the University of Connecticut and a BS in Physics from City College of New York. |
