David Nishball leads Equant's Sales and Marketing organization in the Asia Pacific region responsible for Equant's operations in ASEAN Japan Korea Greater China India and Australasia.
With 20 years of experience spanning various aspects of the telecommunications industry including 14 years in international-related functions David provides strategic direction and insight to achieve Equant's profitability and customer satisfaction targets in the region. He also manages business development and direct channel activities in key markets.
Previously he was vice president of Concert Asia Pacific a $7 billion joint venture between BT and AT&T. There he led the global accounts sales force carrier services organisation and regional sales support organisation and was responsible for developing and managing distributors in the Asia Pacific region. He was also involved in the startup of the WorldPartners Company a global telecommunications services venture between AT&T KDD (Japan) Singapore Telecom and Unisource where he served as the vice president Marketing.
Previously David held a number of positions in AT&T and its related companies. He provided strategic leadership in a variety of disciplines and played key roles in supporting and managing AT&T ventures.
From 1990 to 1993 David was managing director for AT&T Philippines and for AT&T in the ASEAN countries responsible for its international communications services business.
David has a bachelor's degree in Economics (Magna Cum Laude & Phi Beta Kappa) and a master's in Business Administration (Honors) with focus in Finance and Operation Research both from the University of California.
He is married with two children and speaks Cantonese and Tagalog. |
