Dave Nole is Chief Risk Officer for Consumer Banking at Wachovia Corporation. In this role he is responsible for Credit, Operational, and Market Risk Management for Wachovia's $100 billion Consumer Business. He has held this position since March 1999. Prior to this role, he was President and CEO of the First Union Credit Card Division. He has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors for First Union a subsidiary of Wachovia Corporation. Dave has also held management positions at Advanta and Citibank. He serves on a number of Corporate and Client Advisory Councils. He is Chairman of RMA's Consumer Committee and a member of Retail Risk Managers Roundtable, he is recognized as a leader in the field of Consumer Risk Management and has spoken at several industry venues, both domestically and internationally. Dave served in the United States Marine Corps. Dave lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and three boys. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of New York at Albany and received his MBA from the University of Denver. |
