David has been involved in aviation ever since his enlistment in the Navy in 1968. After leaving the service he was hired by B. F. Goodrich�s Aviation Store at Akron Fulton Airport (AKR) as a line service technician, then transferred to Goodrich�s corporate flight department at Akron-Canton Regional Airport (CAK), where he had a myriad of responsibilities as maintenance coordinator. This position included line service, inventory control, purchasing, shipping and receiving, clerical duties and accounting. After 27 years with Goodrich the flight department was closed due to a corporate merger. In January of 2000 he joined the team at Castle. Since then his job has increased to include Human Resources and MIS.
David enjoys listening to Jazz and Blues music, photography and collects antique cameras. |
