David Packer, senior vice president of worldwide field operations, is responsible for the overall direction and management of Borland�s sales efforts, as well as the company�s consulting services, partner alliances and customer support organizations.
Mr. Packer is a seasoned enterprise sales executive with nearly 20 years of software industry experience, having held senior executive positions at companies such as PeopleSoft and JD Edwards & Company.
Mr. Packer joined Borland in 2005 as vice president of the Americas. Prior to Borland, Mr. Packer was a vice president and managing director at PeopleSoft, where he was responsible for all sales and marketing for the U.S. western region. Prior to PeopleSoft�s acquisition, Mr. Packer spent ten years at JD Edwards & Company, in various roles, including his most recent position as vice president and general manager.
Mr. Packer earned a Masters of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from Claremont McKenna College. |
