David Riker is the CEO of Storm Exchange. Recognized as one of the leading innovators in the risk management industry, Mr. Riker has previously founded two other companies. His experience includes senior management roles at companies ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 100. Mr. Riker launched Storm Exchange with the vision of bringing powerful online weather risk management solutions to companies around the world at a time when the weather is becoming increasingly more volatile and unpredictable. Prior to Storm Exchange, Mr. Riker plied his skills as an innovator at Marsh & McLennan where he was responsible for both product development and mergers & acquisitions. Earlier, he served as Chief Technology Strategist of St. Paul Companies, introducing innovation that enabled St. Paul to institutionalize risk analysis, increase the quality of underwriting decisions, boost employee productivity and improve loss ratios. Before St. Paul, David was Founding CEO of eCoverage, one of the first online auto insurance companies which was acquired by General Motors Acceptance Corporation in 2001. Mr. Riker is a graduate of Trinity College and has served on the college s Board of Fellows. He lives in New York City with his wife and son. |
