David Robbins served as a director from July 1994 to September 1997 and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company from February 1997 to September 1997. In December 1997 he was again elected to the Board of Directors and since that time has served as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Robbins received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the New York University School of Law. Mr. Robbins is also licensed as a certified public accountant (inactive status) in the state of New York. From 1984 through 1995, he practiced real estate, corporate and securities law at Cahill Gordon & Reindel and Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel. From 1993 through the present, Mr. Robbins invested in various private equity and other investment opportunities, and since January 1996 has managed funds for private investors, including both private investment partnerships that invest in public securities and a private equity investment partnership. In addition to serving on the Company�s Board, Mr. Robbins serves on the board of directors of E-ven Holdings, Ltd., a U.K. private equity and venture capital firm, and has served on the board of directors of Medisys, plc (LSE:MDY), a health care diagnostics company. Mr. Robbins is of counsel to Reitler Brown & Rosenblatt LLC, a New York City law firm (formerly having been a partner in that firm) and has served as an assistant adjunct professor of law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School, where he taught courses in real estate and corporate finance. |
