David Shingledecker Vice President & General Manager Integrated Space Systems Division Dave Shingledecker is vice president and general manager of the Integrated Space Systems division of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems. He joined General Dynamics in March 2007. Prior to joining General Dynamics, Shingledecker was vice president for Strategic Pursuits at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems, with 30 years of experience in systems engineering, program management, strategy and business development. Shingledecker held a variety of other roles at Raytheon including vice president for the Strategic Systems business area and vice president for Strategy and Business Development. Strategic Systems produces space and space-qualified solutions for defense and civil applications. Shingledecker joined Raytheon as part of its acquisition of Hughes Aircraft Company in 1977. Shingledecker, a Pennsylvania native, holds a bachelor�s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a master�s degree and an engineer of electrical engineering degree from the University of Southern California. He has also completed the Executive Program and Marketing Executive Program at the Anderson School of the University of California at Los Angeles and the Business Leadership Program at the University of Chicago.
