David has 20 years of reinsurance underwriting, risk management and capital markets experience. Prior to joining Montpelier Re, David worked for PartnerRe in a number of capacities, including overseeing the evaluation of group risk-based capital requirements, underwriting domestic U.S. and international treaty reinsurance, and developing non-traditional solutions for insurance clients. Before joining PartnerRe, he underwrote the international property catastrophe book at Tempest Reinsurance and worked as an insurance securities analyst at Morgan Stanley. He began his reinsurance career in 1983 at General Reinsurance in the property facultative department in New York. David received his BA in Economics from Bowdoin College and MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
