David has over 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry, having held key roles in circuit design, system design, applications and marketing.
Prior to founding Amalfi, David was responsible for Broadcom�s pioneering efforts in Gigabit Ethernet transceivers and later Gigabit Ethernet adapter cards. He grew these businesses from inception to greater than $30 million in revenue, becoming the dominant supplier with over 90% market share to all the major networking and PC customers.
Before joining Broadcom, David was at Advanced Micro Devices for 12 years in various roles including Director of Strategic Marketing for the Communications Group. There he oversaw AMD�s product plans in the networking and telecommunications industries. Earlier in his career David spent time in digital design and applications engineering. |
