What career path did you follow to reach your current position?
When I first joined the company I focused on understanding the companys culture and environment. I immediately joined a project development team writing customer test programs. Over the years, this work has enabled me to grow my technical skills and develop a greater understanding of semiconductor devices. Through Teradynes leadership training, I developed the skills needed to work directly with customers and provide consulting for new engineers that we hire.
Why did you choose Teradyne? Teradyne offers a very good learning environment and provides individuals with opportunities for growth. Because Teradyne is a global company, I interface with colleagues around the world and have a greater perspective on the semiconductor industry.
What is most challenging about your job? Because our industry changes rapidly, the greatest challenge is exceeding our customers expectations in that market environment.
What do you find most rewarding about your job?
My job has three components including providing consulting to our sales engineers, engineering high tech solutions for customers and providing training on complex test systems. There are always new challenges that enable me to expand my knowledge base.
So, I love the environment and enjoy being able to continuously improve my English language skills.
