David is an Internationally Certified Fire Investigator, Arizona State Certified Firefighter 1 & 2, nationally certified as a car seat technician, nationally certified in juvenile fire education, and has completed an Arizona state hazardous materials certification. He has been in the fire service since 1990 and has been investigating fires since 1999. David has specific education in arson investigation and fire code inspections, which makes him both skilled and experienced at fire origin and cause investigations. David has completed additional course work and supplementary training courses in fire science, industrial and commercial fire investigation, advanced arson detection, fire spread and burn patterns, fire sprinkler systems/alarm testing and inspections, hazardous materials, and fire code compliance. He has been an instructor for fire and life safety education throughout the community providing home safety education, child safety restraint training, juvenile fire setter education, and fire extinguisher training. David presents safety and prevention programs to area schools, homeowners associations, insurance groups, and the general public. David was selected as "2007 Member of the Year" of the IAAI Arizona State Chapter.
