Dean DiMaria joined Nutrition 21 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in December 2005. Mr. DiMaria has more than 22 years of general management, senior sales and marketing experience in the consumer package goods industry, including vitamin, mineral, supplement and beauty care products. His experience includes nine years at Pharmaton Natural Health Products and Boehringer Ingelheim Consumer Healthcare. At Pharmaton, after serving as Vice President of Sales of Natural Health Products, he served as General Manager and oversaw sales, marketing, market research and business development, general operations and was instrumental in the development and execution of the strategy that established Pharmaton as one of the herbal category leaders with $120 million in annual factory sales of its Ginsana, Ginkoba, Venastat and other brands. Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, he held sales and management positions at both Church & Dwight Co., and Alberto Culver. An honorary board member of the Consumer Health Care Products Association, Mr. DiMaria received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Western Michigan University. |
