Debbie Cothern joined CHS in September 1997 as a Regional Director of Quality and Resource Management, and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2002 and to Vice President in 2003. She has served in various roles throughout her nursing career including, critical care nursing, nursing supervision of cardiac and medical surgical nursing units, Home Health Care Nurse Manager, and Director of Case Management in large tertiary acute care hospital.
Cothern received her nursing degree from Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis, and her bachelor of health arts degree from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, Illinois. She maintains certification in case management and is a member of the Academy of Certified Case Managers. |
