Debbie Law, D. Phil., was named Vice President of Research in October 2006 after serving in various positions within the research department at PDL BioPharma, including Senior Director of Target Validation from January 2005. Dr. Law joined PDL BioPharma in April 2003, as part of the Eos Biotechnology acquisition. At Eos she was Director of Target Validation with research efforts focused on antibody-based therapeutics in Oncology. Prior to Eos, Dr. Law was a Senior Scientist at the cardiovascular research-based company, COR Therapeutics. A native of the United Kingdom, she received a B. Sc (Hons) in Immunology from the University of Glasgow, a D. Phil. From Oxford University and performed post-doctoral research at the University of California, San Francisco. |
