Debbie Waldman oversees the human resources capacity and administrative operations for the Carl M. Freeman Companies. Specifically, she is responsible for acquisition and culture integration, compensation planning, project and strategic management, staffing and recruitment, policy and procedure development, and corporate benefits administration. Debbie serves a critical role in all major company initiatives by supporting the strategic priorities of the departments and divisions, developing the Company�s capability infrastructure to enhance overall organizational effectiveness. Since joining the Company in 1997, Debbie has led the acquisition integration of four new entities as they joined the Freeman Companies, managing the human resources due diligence process, integration of new employees into the company culture, compensation and benefits, and communications, seamlessly merging systems and successfully on-boarding new employees. Additionally during her tenure with the Freeman Companies, Debbie has designed and facilitated leadership development programs, created and implemented performance evaluation procedures, and after surveying competitive businesses and researching the marketplace developed appropriate salary ranges and benefits packages as well as established salary classifications and bonus programs. Debbie has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, compensation, benefits, recruitment, training and communications. She was the Firm Administrator for Beers & Cutler in Washington, D.C., from 1990 to 1997 and was the Director of Human Resource Administration for The Artery Organization, Inc., in Bethesda, Maryland, from 1975 to 1990. Debbie is a candidate for a master�s of science degree in human resources development at American University. Under Debbie�s leadership, the Freeman Companies have been honored with the American Psychological Association (APA) Healthy Workplace Award for the state of Maryland and the APA Healthy Workplace Best Practice Award for the nation. Debbie is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Association for the Capital Area and serves on the Washington Real Estate Personnel Forum. Currently, Debbie is serving on the board of the Montgomery County, MD F.A.C.E.S. organization, which offers grant money to smaller non-profit organizations and programs in the community. |
