Debbie Tunnell received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor degree from the Southern Methodist University School of Law. She then entered private practice with the Dallas law firm of Vetter, Bates, Tibbals, Lee and DeBusk, first as an Associate and later as a Partner of the firm. Interested in the areas of fund raising and not-for-profits, Ms. Tunnell joined the national office of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Dallas. As Director of Development and Legal Affairs, she was responsible for oversight of national fundraising programs and all legal concerns of the Foundation. She joined Brigham Hill in 1998. Ms. Tunnell has served in various volunteer capacities for their schools, is active in her church, is a Board member of the Dallas Business Committee for the Arts, and a member of the State Bar of Texas. |
