Deborah Pulido holds the position of Special Counsel in the firm's San Francisco office. She is a business transactional attorney with a broad range of experience in corporate, intellectual property and commercial transactions and an emphasis on the representation of nonprofit organizations.
Ms. Pulido joined FLK in 1988. Before graduating from Boalt Hall in 1985, she spent six years in Europe performing with theater and musical groups. She speaks fluent French.

Representing an Australian educational software and consulting company in its acquisition, for 9 Million Australian Dollars, of an educational consulting company in New York.
Negotiating loan restructuring and financing transactions on behalf of a life sciences start-up corporation and its affiliated companies.
For a large performing arts organization, negotiating an agreement with a documentary producer to allow the filming of rehearsals and performances, including provisions concerning media rights.

Ms. Pulido is active as a volunteer in the Berkeley Public Schools and with the Bay Area Hispano Institute for Advancement (BAHIA, Inc.).
Ms. Pulido served on the Board of the French-American Chamber of Commerce from 1986 through 1999.
In law school, Ms. Pulido was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and an executive editor of the California Law Review.
