Ms. Meier joined XactiMed in March 2003 as chief operating officer. She oversees day-to-day operations as well as the delivery of revenue cycle solutions. Ms. Meier's background includes more than 25 years of operations experience, specializing in health care, customer service, information systems and technology with a specific focus on the payer and provider markets. Most recently, Ms. Meier was the senior vice president of operations for Claims Services Resource Group (CSRG), where she was instrumental in the successful sale of the company to Perot Systems in January 2002. She positioned the company to be bought by developing a successful delivery model and growing the company's revenues from $33 million to $60 million with a specific focus on developing the outsourcing division from $4 million in revenue to more than $36 million in three years. Ms. Meier also spent 18 years at Electronic Data Systems (EDS). As director of health care delivery at EDS, Ms. Meier was responsible for the executive oversight of all health care provider operations, including two major hospital organizations (OrNda/Tenet and Columbia HCA) and two major managed care organizations, totaling more than $15 million in revenue annually. |
