Experience
Denis joined Pierce Atwood's Real Estate group in 2007. He comes to Pierce Atwood from Wiggin & Nourie, P.A. where he chaired the firm's Real Estate Practice and Land Use Development group, representing clients in all aspects of commercial purchase, sale, leasing, financing and development of real estate.
Denis served as General Counsel for Bedford Capital Funding, LLC from 2000-2003. While at Bedford Capital, Denis closed credit tenant loans across the nation and oversaw the securitization of those loans, including the rating and servicing of the pooled assets. Prior to joining Bedford Capital Funding, LLC, Denis was an attorney at a Manchester based law firm that specialized in real estate and creditor's rights.
Education
Denis received his B.S. in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University, University Honors (1988) and his J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center (1993).
Professional Activities
Denis is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and currently serves on the Title Standards Review Committee, which orchestrated the first comprehensive revision to New Hampshire's title standards in ten years. Denis is also a member of the Real Estate Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association.
Civic Activities
Denis is a member and Vice President of the board for the Bedford Library Foundation and a member of the board of directors of the Manchester Police Athletic League.
He previously served as a member of the Manchester Economic Redevelopment Committee; the Hudson Planning Board and the Nashua Regional Planning Commission.
